His victory in the KLM Open matched the feat of Richard Finch, Ross Fisher and Graeme McDowell who all employ the golf performance analysis services of StrokeAverage.com.
Ross Fisher, who was the KLM Open defending champion after his maiden win in Holland a year ago, was actually going to leave the recent European Open off his schedule until the StrokeAverage team’s analysis of the Jack Nicklaus-designed Heritage golf course was identified as being perfectly suited to the Wentworth ace’s game, which he went on to win by seven shots.
And Graeme McDowell, who started working with both David Howell’s coach and golf stats team two years ago in a bid to make the 2008 Ryder Cup team, achieved his key goal with his second win of the season in the Barclay’s Scottish Open at Loch Lomond, in July.
