EuroPro Tour teams up with Green17

The Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour is delighted to announce a partnership with Green17 – Ireland’s newest and largest golf management company led by former European Tour veteran Gary Evans.
Green17 are managing a team of young Irish professionals who will be hoping to make an impact on the EuroPro Tour under the guidance of European Tour professional Gary Murphy.
Commenting on the announcement, Evans said “After all these years, it is great to be actively putting our experience and financial support back into golf at grass roots level. At Green17, we believe the stars of tomorrow will be born from the foundations, support network and dedication we put in today.
We are excited about the prospects this new association provides not only to our players in Green17, but to those we will meet throughout the season.”
Sam Pigott, the Tour’s commercial manager said, “Green17’s involvement on the Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour will give their players the opportunity to nurture their talent in front of the Sky Sports cameras and take it on to a bigger stage. We’re delighted to have Green17 supporting the Tour and we look forward to building a long term relationship over the coming years.”
The 2009 Tour starts in April and we will be announcing the details for the qualifying school shortly.
