FootJoy has announced the launch of a new and improved version of the FJ Sport golf shoe ahead of the 2012 season.

Sure to build on the success of the original FJ Sport, launched in 2010, it is a high-performance, athletic golf shoe.

The new FJ Sport has undergone a number of subtle design and styling tweaks to offer the latest in modern styling as well as enhanced levels of performance.

It is ideally suited to golfers seeking a technologically advanced golf shoe coupled with bold, athletic styling.

For the first time, the 2012 FJ Sport is available with the BOA L4 closure lacing system. This is an innovative lacing system, exclusive to FootJoy, which provides an exceptional fit that can be easily adjusted mid-round.

The FJ Sport has also integrated proven performance attributes and premium materials. Full grain leather uppers allow for breathability, support and comfort without sacrificing tensile strength.

Underfoot cushioning and support is provided by a lightweight moulded EVA fit-bed, while an athletic mesh lining in the shoe also adds to the breathability and comfort.

The FJ Sport is available from January 2012 with an RRP £110, or £120 with the BOA L4 closure lacing system, and comes in a variety of colour options.
