Make a Million Appeal to host charity golf day at Woburn

Woburn Marquess course will host the Make a Million Appeal event.
On May 7, the Make a Million Appeal is hosting a charity golf day at Woburn Golf Club on the Marquess course.
The 7,214-yard course was opened in 2000 and is considered the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the club.
The day offers a fantastic opportunity for golfers to play one of the UK’s great courses with money going to various cancer charities.
There is space for 24 teams of four and entry to play is on a first come first serve basis. Participants will also have the opportunity to bid for a celebrity golfer to make up part of their team.
The cost of entry for a team of four is £900 for the full day and evening experience.
The morning will consist of a one hour short game clinic, hosted by the BBC golf commentator Alex Hay, followed by a brunch.
Teams will then tee-off at 1pm by a shotgun start. A champagne reception and three-course meal will then be held in the evening where Hay will again feature as the after dinner speaker and host a charity auction.
