Who said studying was boring? The students take in some golf at The Cascades Golf & Country Club
Golf Management students Max Morgan, Damon Wood, Dan Southam, James Willis, Ash Collyer and Dan Owen recently completed their Event Management module after organising a successful golfing trip to Egypt.
The students embarked on a trip to Hurghada with a PGA professional and stayed at the Pickalbatros Hotel. Whilst there 'work' included golf at El Gouna and the Cascades resort at Soma Bay.
It was all part of a course that tests the students' ability to organise and manage events, and it just so happened it involved some fantastic golf.
The 18-hole championship course at El Gouna, designed by Gene Bates and Fed Couples, boasts a floating driving range. The Cascades Golf & Country Club at Soma Bay features the Championship Course designed by Gary Player as well as a Par 3 Challenge Course, and both were enjoyed by the visiting students.
All of this made for a successful trip before a return to 'normal' study back in the UK. You can find your perfect golf destination by visiting our travel section.
