The Costa Blanca and Murcia areas have grown at a tremendous rate, not only in population but with regards to golfing in the area with many new courses having opened over the last few yaers.
Lucy Franchi has a BA in Hotel Management and has more than 25 years' experience as a general manager in the UK with Stakis, Swallow, Hilton and Golden Tulip UK.
Lucy was managing a successful hotel operation in Glasgow but in 2007 it was taken over by a large conglomerate and after much soul searching she and Steven decided it was time to venture into a new life.
Last year golf4uAlicante.com went from strength to strength and the hard worked paid off with a 20% increase on the previous year in profitability, quite an achievement given the current economic climate.
Steven Franchi, from Kirriemuir, is a past junior and senior Club Champion, playing off a handicap of two, and won the Angus County Championship in 1988. He played at both junior and senior level for his county.
Since moving to Spain Steven has enjoyed the opportunity of playing some of the best golf courses around and writing 18-hole reviews, which have been approved by many of the local golf courses.

Thrilled to see this review in Golf Monthly. We have used golf4ualicante in the past and can't praise both Lucy and Steven enough. From our very first enquiry until they returned us to the airport it was a first class service. Having a friendly, and very knowledgeable duo working on our behalf was very beneficial as we could just concentrate on the golf. Good luck to them both for the future and we shall certainly be using them again.... and again.

You could not find better organisers & hosts than Lucy & Steven.
Lucy's attention to detail and experience from running hotels shines thru in her hospitality and customer serice. Steven's golf skills are well reported and something to be envious of; I suggest you make use of his great knowledge of the area or even have a lesson.
Transport can be a concern when you arrive to start your golf break however, not with Steven & Lucy. This team are 100% reliable and on time.
As you can tell, we are appreciate customers and plan to be seeing them in May2011 and April 2012

Great to see golf4ualicante getting the acclaim from a reputable magazine.Our golf society have used golf4ualicante for the last 3 years,they are without doubt the most professional company in this area off spain,nothing is too much trouble.Everything is arranged from your hotel,breakfast,lunches(if reqd.) to the golf,buggies and transport,give this company a try you will not regret it and you won,t go anywhere else in the future.

We as a Society have totally appreciated everything that Lucy & Steven done over these last 3-4 years a very friendly and undoubtedly Professional company ,we havent been able to beat them for prices all over Spain an incredible amount of work put in at no extra cost or thought, 27 of us went to Spain last year and the the Flexibility and Tolerance required is awsome but to these Guys its just a walk in the park and its very much appreciated Best courses , and nothing but consideration for us ..only wish my normal Holidays ran as Smooth ... you gotta get on the bus they're Brilliant 11 - outta 10 without a doubt
