Kim shows Poulter the way in Korea

Anthony Kim is currently setting the pace at the Kolon-Hana Bank Korea Open, after a sublime opening round seven under-par 64.
Front-runner Kim led the field a week ago in The Tour Championship at East Lake, Atlanta, only to be reeled in by Camilo Villegas and Sergio Garcia.
Ian Poulter is one of the two European Ryder Cup team members missing from the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland the other being Garcia.
But he returned a respectable 69 to finish five off his Ryder Cup rival. His spat with Kim at Valhalla could yet add extra spice to the US$ 1 million tournament. The Englishman labeled the barging affair as pathetic and will need no extra incentive to chase the American down.
Meanwhile, Mark Brown slumped to a 78. The New Zealander currently heads the Asian Tour, but had a forgettable Thursday in Korea. Leading European, after day one, is Englands Simon Griffiths who shot an impressive 68.
