NEC Golf Show welcome TaylorMade

NEC Golf Show welcome TaylorMade

The NEC Golf Show gets underway today with a number of big brands, such as TaylorMade, lined up for the Midlands extravaganza.

Last year, The Golf Show’s Birmingham event pulled in over 12,500 visitors and more are expected this year.

TaylorMade will be rolling up in their new 18-metre behemoth, providing the opportunity for visitors to take advantage of custom-fitting technology normally reserved for the professionals.

And expert opinion will be on hand at the hugely impressive indoor driving range, with plenty of new gear available to test – and a shop offering great deals should you like what you see.

The NEC’s stage will also host demonstrations, shows and celebrity interviews with the likes of tennis star Tim Henman stopping by to give his thoughts.

Joining Henman are other TaylorMade ambassadors in the form of ex-England goalkeeper David Seaman, former England cricket captain Alec Stewart, Arsenal legend Ian Wright, snooker’s Willie Thorne and BBC’s golf fanatic DJ Spoony.

With prizes up for grabs in the longest-drive, nearest-the-pin and 100ft putt competitions, there will be no shortage of entertainment.

The NEC Golf Show runs from 21-23 November 2008, opening from 10am-5pm on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Tickets are £15.00 on the door but free for juniors (age 12 or under).

My thoughts on the New Nike Victory Red irons are that they have a soft, relieving feel. The irons bring great composure to your game, and never disappoint you when you are hitting. If you have ever had a not so great drive, and then stepped up to the ball feeling nervous, then those days are over when you purchase the nike victory reds. These are by far the most forgiving club in golf and think that you should give them a look and see how it plays out.
