Six modern putters that could help your game

Last week we highlighted a selection of irons under £400 – sets featuring all the latest technology. This week we have selected six putters, featuring a range of modern designs. So if you’re hitting your irons well and you’re looking to capitalize, then make sure you browse our reviews, blogs and galleries before heading to the shops.

1. Cleveland VP2 Milled putter

This model has a classic blade design with a unique alignment aid that shows the player whether or not their eyes are directly over the ball.

Verdict: Sits nicely with lovely classic shape. Great value at £79.99.

More Cleveland: Cleveland CG12 wedge

2. Nike Unitized Neo putter

The head is laser welded to the shaft to remove any bonds or joints, which should give the player improved feel and response.

Verdict: Good solid feel off face, but looks not everyone's favourite.

3. Odyssey Sabertooth putter

The Dual Fangs position more weight to the outer limits of the head for increased stability, while the multi-layer insert generates a soft feel.

Verdict: Solid from short range, good for nervous putters.

Review: Odyssey White Hot XG Sabertooth review
