England’s fast-improving golf star Ross Fisher has signed with Dublin based sports agency Horizon Sports Management.

Fisher, who was unlucky to have been beaten in the consolation match for third place at the WGC Accenture Match Play in Arizona, has steadily improved his game since winning the 2007 KLM Dutch Open and is the reigning European Open champion.

The 28-year-old joins fellow European Tour player Graeme McDowell in the Horizon Sports stable, as well as a growing number of other young, exciting prospects.

“A players management team performs an increasingly important role in achieving success both on and off the golf course,” said Fisher.

“To this end, I considered a number of options open to me after the end of last season. I am now delighted to be joining Horizon Sports Management.

“Horizon Sports is a young and energetic company with a very professional management team, so I am really looking forward to being part of their setup.”

Fisher, from Ascot, is up to 28th in the world rankings and is making his US Masters debut at Augusta National in April.
