New Callaway X-Series Jaws wedges

Callaway Golf has launched its new X-Series Jaws wedges that feature high performance Mack Daddy Grooves, available in various loft and bounce combinations.

They are billed as the most versatile specialist wedges ever made by Callaway. Inspired by its Tour Authentic X-Prototype irons, the new X-Series Jaws wedges have been crafted by Callaway Golf's legendary designer Roger Cleveland.

The high performance Mack Daddy grooves which, under new R&A and USGA regulations to be implemented in January 2010, can only be sold into retail until the end of next year.

The X-Series Jaws wedges are designed to give every golfer looking for a performance edge a real short game advantage, offering incredible shot-stopping performance and control from every type of lie, whether playing from the middle of the fairway, from a greenside bunker or deep rough.

The new wedges feature aggressively sized Mack Daddy grooves that are designed at the maximum depth and width for tour-level spin, trajectory and distance control and a refined C-Grind Sole which allows for maximum versatility in shot-making on a variety of turf conditions.
