Free Golf Monthly Calendar 2010

A week after putting January's issue (with free calendar) to bed and work is underway on February's copy. This means Christmas is approaching rapidly so, with this in mind, and considering the bad weather, we've been uploading equipment reviews of some excellent new clothing including waterproof jackets and golf trousers.

We've also given you the heads up on how to win a prize every day in December in the lead up to Christmas. Visit the Golf Monthly Advent Calendar now for further details. Keeping with the festive spirit and there are some excellent new competitions that you can now get involved in, including a trip to La Manga and The Abu Dhabi Golf Championships.

The European Tour's Race to Dubai will be decided this weekend and, at the time of writing, looks set to end in dramatic fashion with Race leaders Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy separated by just two shots in favour of the Englishman. Golf Monthly tipster Paul Krishnamurty has bigged up the chances of Ross Fisher and Martin Kaymer who will now need to go very low on Saturday and Sunday.

Ireland's game with France in the World Cup Qualifier proved not the only major sporting controversy this week after an office ‘chip off' turned sour when assistant editor Alex Narey inexcusably denied associate editor Jezz Ellwood access to his £9 winnings. It was the type of drama that can surely only be surpassed by this week's finale in Dubai.

Next week we'll be out on the course with some exciting new kit. The team will be testing a range of GPS devices, PING iN putters, Nike VR woods, Wilson Ci9 irons and the new Cleveland driver and irons. We'll bring you some equipment blogs to help to decide on your next purchase.

Have a good weekend.
