The Mallorca Marriott Son Antem has recently invested €1.7 million in a refurbishment of its hotel public areas and guest rooms.
The Mallorca Marriott Son Antem Golf Resort & Spa has completed the renovation of the fine dining restaurant El Olivar, the hotel bar and the lobby furniture.
Its refurbishment of the prestigious Mallorca Hotel presents a fresh new look to hotel guests. Jörg Meile, General Manager of the resort, is excited about the changes and said: "We selected warm, inviting colours and contemporary stylish furnishings for the re-design, reflecting a traditional Mediterranean Finca Style."
One of the highlights of the refurbishment in the lobby area is the new centralised Lobby Bar. Providing more seating and a whole new inviting look, the Lobby bar is sure to be the focal point of all guest attention.
For those wishing to relax in the Hotel Patio, a complete upgrade of the furniture allows guests to sit back and watch the day go by in the properties new open-air chill out lounges.
In the public exterior space, pool lounges were replaced in the hotel outdoor pool as well as the Spa pool.
The Guest Room upgrades are scheduled to begin towards the end of 2011 and are expected to be completed by early 2012. The revitalised rooms will include new carpets, curtains, lighting and flat screen televisions. In addition, all hallways will experience a make over with new carpeting.
