A guide to Chambers Bay's hole 13 ahead of the 2015 US Open.

Chambers Bay hole 13 – Eagle Eye – Par 4 – 534 yards

The name ‘Eagle Eye’ partly owes to the birds surrounding the course as well as what you might be expected to shoot on this hole if your name is Spieth or McIlroy.

Hole 13 is a dogleg right, with players able to avoid sand until its first sighting on the right-hand side of the fairway. A smaller bunker also sits to the top left of the larger one. Even if these are cleared, there is still a slope on the right of the green that won’t take kindly to shots that are left too short.

Eagle Eye also has the widest fairway on the whole course, meaning a good shot from the tee gives you plenty to work with as the green begins to come into view.
