On a special trip, Golf Monthly was given exclusive access to FootJoy's two main headquarters in Fairhaven and Brockton, Massachusetts, to discover how it goes about creating its shoes, gloves, socks and apparel

In May of this year, Golf Monthly editor Mike Harris and technical editor Joel Tadman along with photographer Kevin Murray, were invited by FootJoy to travel to Boston to go behind-the-scenes of the brand's main US headquarters to discover what goes into making the No.1 shoe and glove in golf as well the innovation involved in crafting top-quality performance socks and apparel for the golfer.

To date, his best ever round of golf is a 5-under 67 back in 2011. He currently plays his golf at Burghley Park Golf Club in Stamford, Lincs, with a handicap index of 3.2.
