As expected accuracy off the tee is essential to give you the best opportunity to find the well-kept greens in regulation.

Some of the fairways are tight and due to the length of the par fives your game needs to be in tip-top shape to score well.

The Bernhard Hunt course is more elevated and slightly longer than Longcross. Long hitters will be tempted to try and rip it over the corner for a chance to hit the green in two on the 535-yard par-five seventh.

Longcross is a good length at 6743 yards and requires pinpoint accuracy to thread it around another fine 18 holes.

Visitors are made very welcome, and it?s possible to drop in after 12pm at the weekend to jump on the tee without having to have booked as tee times are left open to visitors.

Golf Monthly commented that "Foxhills is a little like heaven; many people know of it, but only a few of us will ever go there." Make sure you do.

Best Hole:The 16th hole on the Longcross demands a 221-yard tee-shot over a pond onto a heavily bunkered green. Easy.
