The Glen is more rugged than it?s near neighbour West Links and enjoys unequalled panoramic views of the Firth of Forth, Tantallon Castle and the Bass Rock, a volcanic plug which rises 313 feet from the water.
The spectacular views start at the first hole and just keep on coming with each hole offering a different perspective of the Firth of Forth and the county of Fife beyond.
Standing on the 18th tee preparing to drive down the last it really is difficult to imagine playing golf in a more memorable setting.
Best Hole: 13th, 144 yards par 3. There are few holes anywhere to match the 'Sea Hole'. Played from an elevated tee to a green below surrounded on two sides by the seashore and can require a pitching wedge one day and a three iron the next. Pleased to take a three here.
