Woodbury Park GC
Woodbury Park is one of the country's top golfing destinations. With 27 demanding holes and a well-equiped, luxurious hotel, it can cater for everyone's tastes. The course itself has been clevrly layed out in 500 acres of Devon's finest countryside.
The main course that goes by the name, The Oaks is a lengthy 6,870 yards from the back tees. Gently undulating fairways, speedy greens and well-designed holes make it a very enjoyable experience. Mature trees and water represent the biggest threat to a decent score.
If you're looking for a slightly easier challenge the 9 hole Acorns course is a beautiful little track that will place your short game under the microscope. Woodbury Park comes highly recommended and with its luxurious hotel comes highly recommended as a venue for a weekend away.
Best Hole: It's very difficult to choose a best hole as the course will keep your interest going from start to finish. A tough finishing stretch is probably the highlight.
