Rob Smith has been a contributing editor for Golf Monthly since 2012 specialising in course reviews and travel. He has now played well over 1,000 courses, albeit not setting any records, in more than 40 countries. In 2018 he has played more than 80 courses in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, France, Portugal, Denmark, Switzerland and Turkey… with more to come!

Rob is a member of Tandridge Golf Club in Surrey where he very rarely plays to his handicap of 14.
