As someone who struggles with bad circulation in the hands, I always use winter golf gloves, from the moment the leaves start turning orange. These aren’t big, bulky golf mittens that you wear between shots. It’s possible to wear these gloves, which come as a pair, when you actually play shots. I’ve tried doing so and, for me, they still feel too thick – you lose some feel compared to the skin-tight leather of ‘normal’ golf gloves.
However, I have leant these to a few fellow players, senior golfers who struggle with cold hands in the winter, and the bulkier material hasn’t bothered them as much during play. I enjoy the warmth that the suede provides, which is boosted with a fleece lining on the inside. In summary, they’re a decent alternative to mittens and can be used to play in.
