The FootJoy Fury shoe is one of the products featured in our Editor's Choice product list.
A brand new design for 2019, the Fury fills the gap in FJ’s range of a performance shoe. A sporty, athletic offering targeting the young or young-at-heart golfer with a big focus on comfort without sacrificing performance. It’s actually more stable than Pro/SL and naturally offers more grip with its cleated outsole.
Worn by Tour players like Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Bernd Wiesberger, the Fury has been designed to provide comfort around key contact points without sacrificing grip and stability. The comfort comes from multiple sources, the first being a one-piece Inner Fit Sleeve – a tongue system that wraps around the top of the foot to keep it in place. There’s also an FTF+ midsole and a dual-layer FitBed, which features a memory foam layer that moulds to the shape of your foot.

Strong And Stable
Stability comes from the TPU outsole, along with a new FlexGrid MLC Cage system that attaches the laces to the midsole for a more locked-in fit. The nine Softspikes cleats provide excellent grip and the snug fit provides lateral stability. We also liked the neoprene coating which makes the shoes very easy to clean and should ensure durability for a long period of time. Finally the mesh section at the front of the shoe will also prevent any creasing of the leather where your toes flex, which is a common complaint on many golf shoes.
Admittedly the sporty look and visual elements may not be to everyone’s taste but we felt it pops off the shelf nicely. In short, we selected the new model for our Editors Choice List because they are truly a performance shoe that offers bit of everything. Traction, stability, comfort and athletic looks – you definitely get a lot of shoe for your money with the FootJoy Fury’s.
