Under Armour Performance Slim Taper Pant
It’s been a number of years since Under Armour introduced its Match Play trousers. With its engineered waistband, breathable fabrics and four-way stretch, golfers suddenly had a really light and comfortable option, as opposed to just a classic chino or more traditional trouser.
They also came at a time when brands, including Under Armour themselves, were getting a little more creative with styles across the clothing sector as a whole. Smart/casual is the number one look for a number of golfers, yet golf trousers often made this more difficult to achieve. That Under Armour came up with an answer is part the reason why they’re proving so popular.
The Performance Slim Taper pants are an example of Under Armour’s progressive thinking. They are designed with the game in mind – quite unlike high street offerings – so they flex with your body and any movement you make. To achieve this, the brand used a high-performance, mobile fabric, a stretch waistband, and a new streamlined fit to reduce drag on every swing and unlock total mobility on the course.
This kind of mobility is something we hear a lot of when it comes to shirts and outerwear, but Under Armour has factored this in to the bottom half whilst improving both comfort and style at the same time.
Value for money
This trouser offers two silhouettes so golfers can get their favourite pant in the fit they want, with either Taper leg or Slim Taper leg. The soft, stretchy woven fabric delivers total comfort, whilst the material wicks sweat and drives really fast.
Compared against a number of other trousers on the market, this pair offers great value for money, and like many of the brand’s other garments, they’ll appeal to a wide audience.
