Fantasy Golf Picks: Travelers Championship

This week on tour it's the Travelers Championship from TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Bubba Watson defends the title he won last year when he beat Paul Casey in a play-off on the second extra hole.

Last week it was the USPGA Championship and winner Jimmy Walker picked up 405 points.

This week's Fantasy Golf picks:

Travelers Championship

USA 1: Brooks Koepka - After a strong week at Baltusrol, Koepka will be highly fancied this week. He ended on T4th, five back, after a final round of level par 70 to match his best ever finish in a major.

USA 2: Bubba Watson - Watson absolutely loves this tournament. He won it in 2010 and 2015 and is missing the Olympics opening ceremony for it this year. He also came 4th in 2013 and T2nd in 2012.

Travelers Championship

GB: Paul Casey - Casey ended on 16-under-par last year but lost out to Bubba Watson who birdied the second play-off hole. He came T10th at the USPGA last week so expect him to do well.

Ireland: Padraig Harrington - Padraig had a great week at Baltusrol where he ended in T13th so I expect him to earn you some points this week.

Scandinavia: Freddie Jacobson - The Swede won here in 2011 and is one of the few Scandinavians in the field so looks like a good pick.

Rest of Europe: Francesco Molinari - The Italian has played a lot of golf on the PGA Tour this season and has accumulated three top-10s. He came T22nd at the USPGA and T36th at The Open.

Travelers Championship

Africa: Branden Grace - Grace had a brilliant USPGA, ending in T4th. He bogeyed 16 and then failed to birdie both the finishing par-5s so it could have been better. He's 10th in the world for a reason and could well add to his RBC Heritage victory earlier this season.

Australasia: Marc Leishman - Leishman won here in 2012 for his only PGA Tour victory.
