Footjoy has announced the launch of the revamped Contour Casual - featuring a new upper - which follows on from the initial launch of the spikeless model earlier this year.
The range has been designed with an emphasis on comfort and flexibility in a leisure style suitable for both on- and off-course use.
A durable, flexible and grippy spineless DuraMax rubber outsole is used instead of normal spikes, meaning more adhesion without any damage to greens.
The waterproof and breathable Contour Casual also contains an interior mesh lining to facilitate a softer feel and added comfort.
"The Contour Casual has become an instant hit for FJ since we first launched it in May this year, with demand surpassing expectations," said Russell Lawes, Footjoy's European Marketing Manager.
"The response from retailers to the 2013 redesign has been extremely encouraging and I firmly believe the new styling reflects the ever-changing fashion demands of the modern golfer.
"This shoe is the ideal option for the golfer who enjoys the convenience of wearing the same shoes from the practice area to the clubhouse, but still demands the premium materials, comfort and style that FootJoy has delivered for over 100 years," he added.
The newly-designed Contour Casual FJ shoe will be available from early November in black with taupe accent, taupe, coffee, white with steel blue and a light grey trim and white with orange and a light grey trim.
