Nike Golf Releases VR Forged Wedges

The New Nike Golf VR Forged wedges were made with the help of Tiger Woods

Following on from the success of its VR Pro forged wedges, Nike Golf is introducing the Nike VR Forged wedges.

Built with Nike Golf Tour athletes in mind, the VR Forged wedge features three distinct sole grinds to ensure ideal set-up from sand, fringe, fairway or deep rough.

Players can benefit from the Standard Grind, Dual Narrow Grind and Dual Wide Grind and the fine craftsmanship that delivers tour-level feel and long-life groove performance.

The Standard Grind, the most versatile for all conditions, was inspired by the desires of Tiger Woods, and ensures the correct address position without the need to open the face.

The VR Forged wedge with the dual narrow grind - inspired by Paul Casey - has a narrow sole width with higher bounce and extreme heel relief. The wedge sits low to the ball whether the face is square or open.

Francesco Molinari helped with the making of the Dual Wide Grind, which is the easiest to use of the three grinds from any location around the green.

It features all the benefits of a wider sole with a low bounce and the wedge is designed to get the ball up high in the air with ease and is an excellent second or third wedge option.

Fully conforming to USGA and R&A rules, the VR Forged wedge utilises Nike's high-frequency X3X groove technology and crosshatch pattern, which creates more spin than conventionally finished faces.

The VR Forged Standard Grind, Dual Wide Grind and Dual Narrow Grind RRP at £95 and are available now.
