For the 65th consecutive year, Titleist golf balls have been the balls of choice for the majority of the US Open field.

At this year's US Open, 97 players have preferred to tee up with a Titleist, compared to 23 for any of the nearest competitors.

The Pro V1 franchise was introduced in 2000 and has produced 67 wins across worldwide professional tours in 2013 alone, compared to 20 for any other rival.

Last years U'S Open Champion Webb Simpson used the Pro V1x ball and Titleist equipment, whilst 2012 Masters Champion Bubba Watson utilised the same ball on the way to his victory.

The 2013 Masters playoff between eventual winner Adam Scott and Angel Cabrera marked another success for the golfing brand, with both pros using Titleist golf balls.

Currently, Titleist has 216 golfers signed to its roster.

The 65-year US Open milestone represents a significant achievement for a brand that continues to lead the way as the number one ball in golf.
