Titleist has revealed the introduction of the new 913 range of fairway woods and hybrids, which provide more distance and increased forgiveness.

The clubs are designed for better performance from both tees and fairways, and feature SureFit Tour adjustable hosel technology to improve both yardage and forgiveness.

The new range - developed from extensive player feedback and advanced engineering - is comprised of the 913F, 913F.d, and 913.H.

The 913F and 913F.d - both low spin fairway woods - and the 913H hybrid are Titleist's highest performing and most comprehensive designs, and feature optimised launch and reduced spin for longer distance.

The 913 fairway woods and hybrids employ SureFit Tour sole weights for all-around performance and penetrating ball flights.

"The 913 line of fairway metals and hybrids represent another breakthrough in long game performance," said Dan Stone, Vice President of Research and Development, Titleist Golf Clubs.

"We've applied some of the same advanced design strategies used in building the new 913 drivers to create more distance potential and greater forgiveness with the fairways and hybrids, while making advances in ball flights, looks, sound and feel. Add in the fitting power of the SureFit Tour hosel and you have the highest performing adjustable fairways and hybrids in the game."

"The 913 fairways and hybrids not only deliver better performance, they provide serious golfers with more options to dial-in their set composition to fit their long game strategy and the way they play the game."

The new clubs made their debut at the PGA Tour's Deutsche Bank Championship, where Rory McIlroy won with the 913F.d. Since inception, five players have combined for eight wins using the 913 fairway woods and hybrids.

The new 913 clubs will be available from February 2013 with a new 913H.d model expected in March.
