DESIGN

Srixon have got the looks spot on here, smart and sleek it certainly holds its own at the top end of the market. The large head promises yards and lots of them - always handy.

TEC TALK

The centre of gravity is towards the heel in higher lofts and toe in lower lofts to optimise trajectory and accuracy. The theory is that depending on what you usually go for, you should find something to suit.

PERFORMANCE

This driver is easy to hit offering a fairly low trajectory - ideal for combatting blustery conditions and the final yardage was also impressive. This is good golfers club that anyone in the market should look to have a crack with.

TOTAL GOLF VERDICT

The Srixon W-302 is long and easy to control. It might not be top of your 'must try' list but we reckon there's more than enough to entice knowledgeable punters after a solid performer.

Over the years, Neil has tested a vast array of products in each category and at drastically different price-points.
