Mizuno MX-900
Satin-finish, hollow and mid-cavity forged heads with progressive tungsten sole weighting.
Mizuno MX-900 - 3-PW £649 (s), £749 (g)
Design and Tech Benefits Satin-finish, hollow and mid-cavity forged heads with progressive tungsten sole weighting.Hollow forged from 3 to 7-iron with progressive tungsten sole weight providing easy launch and maximum forgiveness.
Internal heel and toe weights should boost stability and performance on lateral mis-hits.
8-PW forged from a softer steel with minimal offset to aid feel and distance control.
Specs R/H and L/H; regular or stiff steel shafts; light-regular, regular or stiff graphite shafts.
GM VERDICT Gorgeous looks and feel. We liked the top edge progression ? sharp in the short irons, becoming thicker and more welcoming further up the set. Pure strikes melted off the face with the mid irons while the 3-iron gave us a high, controlled flight. Very little to not like apart from the extent of rear cavity on view at address in the longer irons ? but you?ll soon get used to it.
