The Ping G30 hybrid face has been made square at impact thanks to a flatter top rail and higher heel. This should inspire confidence and aid alignment at address.
Like the Ping G30 fairway, the face on the hybrid has been made uniform in thickness with a 17-4 stainless steel that uses a stronger heat-treatment process to make it thin but strong.
The forgiveness on offer has also been increased thanks to weighting in the heel and toe and a large heel pad that lowers the CG position.
Progressive centre of gravity and hosel positions help to ensure that each Ping G30 hybrid produces a different flight and distance. The higher flight on offer from each club also means that the ball lands more steeply and stops quicker.
