A £1m investment creates ‘Ultimate Golf Gaming Centre'

A £1m investment creates ‘Ultimate Golf Gaming Centre': Mark Rozenbroek transforms an old driving range into deluxe, modern, professional and fun golf centre in East Yorkshire.

A £1 million investment has transformed an old, out-dated driving range in East Yorkshire into ‘The Ultimate Golf Gaming Centre'- with PGA professional and Portugal Masters winner David Lynn a regular, training there ahead of the majors.

Over a four-year period the owners of One Stop Golf have developed the old driving range into a far more modern complex which is suitable for professionals and beginners to work on any aspect of their game.

The centre, based in Hull, boasts a new 19-bay driving range and an eight-bay executive target golf range with bowling-alley style seating in each floodlit bay.

The new short-game challenge area was also officially opened by Hull European Tour professional Richard Finch, which completed the transformation.

The state-of-the-art facilities are capable of analysing both swing and club selection, but it may also be a place where beginners can come and use a club for the first time.

Director Mark Rozenbroek believes that the centre is also capable of becoming a popular entertainment option, as well as the continued choice for serious golfers in the upcoming year.

"We have worked hard to ensure we provide something for everyone here, but the fact that David Lynn is a regular on the driving range, using our latest technology to analyse his swing and clubs, shows we cater for the very top level players," said Mr Rozenbroek.

Juinor novices to elite players can all enjoy the same help with aid from on-site PGA professionals such as Rich Pace and James Drinkall allowing everyone to benefit from the latest golf swing analysis system.

Being a non-members facility also enables all sports fans to try the facilities.

"Golf is often seen as something of an elitist sport, but our goal has always been to make this centre accessible to everyone," Mr Rozenbroek added.

"Whilst we have state-of-the art facilities and the expertise to meet the needs of professional golfers like Richard Finch, we can also cater for business team building events or those golfers just wanting to hit a few balls or come and have some fun. You don't find anything like that anywhere else."
