Bridgestone Golf has doubled its schedule of ball fitting challenges in an effort to deliver record numbers of fittings throughout 2013.
The fittings utilise computer software programming to determine the model that's most suited to each individual player.
Many of those taking part in the challenges have moved to Bridgestone's new e-Series balls.
Fittings are taking place all over the UK and Ireland at some renowned golf courses, including Carnoustie, Royal County Down, Foxhills, Formby, Royal Troon, Carmarthen and Royal Troon.
"This is the most extensive ball-fitting programme every undertaken by a single golf ball brand in the UK & Ireland and is central to the Bridgestone Golf drive here," said Managing Director Steve Kettlewell.
The Ball Fitting Challenge is also being conduced in Germany, Sweden, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Belgium, as well as in North America.
