Canadian Corey Conners was a Monday qualifier when he managed to secure the Valero Texas Open in 2019. It was a momentous moment in his career and he has since gone from strength to strength, making an appearance in the Presidents Cup and winning the same Texas Open event in 2023. Let's take a look at the clubs he currently uses on Tour.

Driver

A Ping staff player, Conners took a while to switch into the latest model of driver from the brand, having used the G400 LST that came out in 2017 for many years. The Canadian is now using the Ping G430 LST, which has 9° of loft and features a UST Elements Gold 6F5 shaft.

The primary difference between the LST and the other two G430 models is that the low spin version of the driver is the only one that features a carbon crown. The head itself is 440cc but, despite the more compact profile, Ping has done a good job of making this look inviting at address.

Fairways Woods

Conners carries two Ping fairway woods: a Ping G430 Max 3-wood, which has 15° of loft (@14°), and a Ping G430 Max 5-wood, which has 18° of loft. They are fitted with a UST LINQ Blue 7F5 shaft and UST LINQ Blue 8F5 shaft, respectively.

This is a long yet easy-to-use fairway wood and will be many golfers' favorite in the 2024 season thanks to its versatility and high launch characteristics. It's a model that we have placed on our list of the best fairway woods

Irons

Conners' irons line-up goes from 4-PW. His 4 and 5-iron are Ping Blueprint S irons, which are fitted with a Project X 6.0 shaft, as are his Ping Blueprint T irons (6-PW). These would appear to have replaced the Ping iBlade irons that he was playing with in 2023.

Wedges

Moving into the bottom end of the bag, Conners is equipped with three Ping s159 wedges, which also feature the Project X 6.0 shaft. He has the following lofts: 50°, 56° and 60°.

The wedges look as good as any other on the market and, having put this scoring club through its paces, we can say that it has the performance to match. Offering exceptional spin and a strong and consistent ball flight, you'll find this model on our list of the best golf wedges

Putter

Conners has tinkered around with his flatstick over the last few seasons, but he appears to have settled on a Ping Prototype PLD Custom Tyne S-H model. Whether it stays in the bag throughout 2024 remains to be seen, for this is a part of the game that the Canadian appears to still be working on. It's not hard to spot, as it has what Ping describes as a 'dark oyster' finish as well as a matte-black shaft.

Ball

Conners uses a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. One of the best golf balls money can buy, the Pro V1 got five stars in our review and it is easy to see why. It provides superb all-round performance with impressive distance in the long game, excellent control into the greens and high levels of consistency throughout, with a soft feel. It was also particularly impressive when playing in the wind.

Apparel/Shoes

Conners has been wearing the very smart and sporty FootJoy Pro SLX, a new model for 2024 that comes in a standard version and Pro/SLX Carbon version. Since introducing the first Pro/SL, the brand has sold millions of pairs across the world; its a hugely popular model on Tour and with club golfers, and is unquestionably one of the best golf shoes on the market.

In terms of clothing, he's a Levelwear athlete. The brand has signed a number of golfers, including Adam Hadwin, Ryan Fox, Adam Long, Amy Long and Brittany Altomare.
