De Vere Club celebrates second anniversary

De Vere is celebrating the second anniversary of its revolutionary membership scheme launched in March 2010.
The De Vere Club was introduced to offer members a more flexible and affordable way to play golf, a scheme supported by Andrew Flintoff and Harry Redknapp to become the fastest growing golf membership in the country.
The Club offers golfers the chance to play 16 courses at 11 De Vere venues including Championship layouts Slaley Hall and The Carrick, all for a fee of £295 while still being able select a 'home course' and hold an official handicap.
Daniel Hodson, De Vere's Director of Golf, Leisure & Spa, explained the anniversary is a significant milestone for the scheme.
"At a time when golf memberships across the country are static or declining, it's great for us to be able to offer amateur golfers an affordable way of becoming members at some of the best courses in the country," he said.
The Club is run on a points based system and members have the chance to top up their membership to continue to play on at De Vere venues.
