Direct Golf UK (DGUK) has announced the opening of a new golf superstore in the Kent area, which is due to commence retailing in the spring of 2010.

The store, which will open in April or May, will be located in the Tunbridge Wells area of Kent and will have various upgrades to the previous nearby store that closed recently.

Some of the upgrades include expert PGA qualified staff, in-store lessons and free full demo facilities.

Neil Bell, the Managing Director of DGUK says that the new store will help golfers achieve the results they are looking for.

Bell said: “When we closed the store last year we knew we had to look at opening a larger and more spacious golf store with the latest technology and custom fitting facilities.

Our new store will have some fantastic technology that golfers are crying out for to assist them in maximising their potential,” he added.

The 6,000 sq ft site was previously owned by golf outlet MKI Golf. However, DGUK also bought $200,000 worth of stock with it and, as a result, a massive clearance sale will soon occur to create room for the official opening of the store.
