First Els Club Asia to be launched in Malaysia
Destination Resorts and Hotels (DRH), owner and developer of world class resort desinations, will announce plans for the first Els Club in Asia at the World Travel Market in ExCel London from 4-7 November 2013.
The Els Club Malaysia will be the third Els Club in the world and will feature three championship golf courses designed by Els himself.
The three courses include:
Els Teluk Datai Course which is nestled within a centuries-old rainforest with towering tropical foliage and is marked as one of the most impressive courses in the Els collection. It is scheduled to open by February 2014.
Els Coast Course is a 27-hole championship course designed by Ernie Els located in Desaru Coast, set to open in 2016.
Els Valley Course is an 18-hole course designed by Vijay Singh in Desaru Coast also set to open in 2016. The Valley and Coast courses offer challenges that will be uniquely integrated with the courses' natural surroundings.
