Golf Care unveils viral videos

Golf Care, the UK's largest specialist golf insurer, has released the first video in a five-part series featuring former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher

Golf Care, the UK's largest specialist golf insurer, has released the first video of its five-part mini-series 'Gallacher's Golf Gaffs', featuring three-time Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher.

The first creative viral video of the series - aiming to provide a light-hearted insight into the world of golf insurance - is named 'Missile Madness', and features two golfers being relentlessly struck by golf balls while Gallacher is interviewed.

The remaining videos - titled 'One-Shot Wonder', 'Golf Bag Buddy', 'Car Park Capers' and 'Talking Balls' - will be unveiled over the coming five weeks.

The videos, themed to highlight the upsides of golf insurance and the dangers that exist on and off the golf course, will initially be sent to Golf Care's extensive membership database before being released on YouTube.

Golf Care recently announced it was on track for a second consecutive record-breaking year, with the month of June seeing an unprecedented number of policy sales.

"We're hoping to demonstrate the lighter side of golf insurance without diluting the main message," said John Woosey, Golf Care's Managing Director.

"Following the TV campaign on Sky Sports this year, Golf Care has a great presence across all the main media platforms.

Naturally, that will really help promote the brand, but also the affordability and ease of being appropriately insured."

Golf Care policies are available in-store at American Golf and Direct Golf UK, as well as online at www.golfcare.co.uk.

From just £22.99, all golfers can be instantly covered before their next round of golf, including personal liability up to £5,000,000 and personal accident up to £50,000.

Golf care also offers equipment cover against theft, loss and damage, with 24-hour and worldwide cover options also available.

See www.golfcare.co.uk for more information on all available policies.
