IJP Design has been announced as the Official Apparel Partner of the European Tour's 2013 Ballantine's Championship in South Korea.

The brand will be providing tournament marshals, officials, caddies, VIP guests and Pro-Am competitors with its shirts, trousers, knitwear, outwear and headwear.

The event - one of Asia's leading golf tournaments - takes place from April 25-28 at South Korea's Blackstone Golf Course.

Following on from IJP design's #WearTheTrousers campaign, VIP guests and Pro-Am players will be handed waterproof trousers and limited-edition tartan trousers from this year's Ballantine's Championship apparel range.

This is the second year of a two-year agreement that will see IJP Design aligned with other global sporting brands, including Emirates, Hyundai and Omega.

IJP Design products will also be showcased at the event's merchandise area, and spectators will be able to purchase Ballantine's Championship apparel and items from the new Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Mark Truby, Managing Director of IJP Design, said: "After the success of the 2012 partnership with the Ballantine's Championship, we wanted to offer even more this year with new introductions to the official apparel range.

"The Asian market is a real growth area for the business and this partnership offers the perfect opportunity to strengthen our presence, both with brand supporters and potential customers, in Korea, Asia and on a global level."
