Golf Monthly has teamed up with Cleveland Golf & Srixon to offer a free-to-download iron play tips app.

With advice from Graeme McDowell, Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano, Shane Lowry and Soren Kjeldsen, you'll gain an invaluable insight into how to strike your irons shots sweetly and accurately.

The Golf Monthly Iron Play Tips app offers 15 free video lessons that are available to download direct to your ipad, iphone or android device.

Graeme McDowell opens the app by looking at the importance of getting custom fit to get the most from your irons and offers an insight into how he controls distance with every club in the bag.

Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano examines some of the key elements that every golfer needs to check. From the basics of alignment and posture to rhythm and balance, his tips are essential viewing.

Shane Lowry looks at ball flight essentials. He offers simple, game-changing tips and drills for how to manipulate your ball flight to compete in windy conditions by hitting it high and low.

Soren Kjeldsen, known for his clever course-management, offers a candid insight into how he shapes his irons shots. His lessons will help you hit draws and fades as well as improving your general course management.

In the final chapter, we take a look at Cleveland's new range of 588 irons, the performance benefits and the custom fitting options.

In July 2023, Neil became just the 9th editor in Golf Monthly's 112-year history. Originally working with the best coaches in the UK to produce instruction content, he has also presented many Golf Monthly videos looking at all areas of the game from Tour player interviews to the rules of golf.
