World No.3 Jordan Spieth was seen wearing an unusual looking pullover on Sunday at the Open Championship as well as a brand new polo shirt

Two-time major winner Jordan Spieth may have slipped under the radar due to the brilliance of Henrik Stenson in winning the 145th Open Championship but the unusual looking new pullover he was wearing on Sunday en route to a T-30th finish didn’t go unnoticed.

It turns out this is the new Under Armour Tips Daytona ¼ zip top. If features a double-knit insulation in the front, which is soft but provides plenty of warmth, ideal for the changeable weather the players experienced at Royal Troon.

Water-resistant stretch panels on the shoulders keep off rain and give wearers a better range of motion for their swing while a Moisture Transport System wicks sweat and dries fast. Finally, elastic cuffs stop the arms from interfering with your play and creating a neat look.

The World No.3 was quick to take to Twitter to congratulate the Swede on his achievement and during the week also debuted the new Under Armour CoolSwitch polo shirt on the Saturday, which Under Armour say uses an exclusive coating on the inside of the fabric that pulls heat away from your skin, making you feel cooler and able to perform longer.

It boasts a loose fit and a fuller cut for complete comfort and has a textured front body fabric to deliver extra breathability, while a moisture transport system wicks sweat and dries fast. It will also help you smell better on hot days too as anti-odour technology prevents the growth of odour causing microbes.

On the Open Championship final day, Spieth was also sporting the Under Armour Match Play pants (£50) and the Under Armour Drive One shoes, which were launched in the UK this year along with the Tempo Tour and Tempo Hybrid shoes, the latter is reviewed in the video below.

The Tips Daytona ¼ zip top has an RRP of £70 while the CoolSwitch Jacquard polo has an RRP of £60. Both these garments are available in UK now. Visit www.underarmour.co.uk for more details.
