Justin Rose has agreed an exclusive three year-deal with British Airways, which sees the company become Rose's Official Global Airline Partner.

During the 2013 Masters and beyond, the British Airways logo will appear on Rose's shirt collar, while Rose will support the airline's global marketing activity, including personal appearances, internal engagements and supporting Flying Start - the airline's charity partnership with Comic Relief.

"I'm delighted to be working with British Airways." Said Rose. "Golf takes me all over the world, and as an athlete it's really important to arrive feeling refreshed and ready to compete.

"The premium service provided by British Airways and its oneworld partners will be a great support with the busy season ahead and I'm proud to be an ambassador for my favourite airline.

"In recent years I have got off to a flying start at Augusta and hopefully this time round I will be able to sustain that momentum so that I'm in contention come Sunday afternoon."

Abigail Comber, British Airways head of marketing said, "We have a long standing history in supporting British sporting talent and I'm pleased that we are able to continue this through our partnership with Justin. We look forward to working with him."

Rose will be hoping another flying start at Augusta will see him soar to the top of the leader board and make his first trip as a British Airways ambassador as Masters Champion.
