Here we take a look at the equipment of five-time Major winner Phil Mickelson.

Phil Mickelson What’s In The Bag?

In this piece we take a look at what clubs the five-time Major winner and long time Callaway ambassador currently puts into play out on Tour.

Lefty has recently switched to Callaway’s new Mavrik Sub Zero driver and he also chooses to have a Mavrik Sub Zero strong three-wood in the bag with 13.5 degrees of loft.

His weak three-wood is also a Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero model with 16.5 degrees of loft. Interestingly he has also been spotted with a Callaway Apex hybrid but we believe this has quickly come out of the bag.

Mickelson carries a variety of irons in his bag. He first has a Callaway X-Forged Utility which is his 2-iron. This club goes in and out of the bag, as does his weak three-wood because of the course, conditions and setup.

Then from four-iron to seven-iron he uses Callaway Epic Forged irons.

Filling out the rest of the bag, from 8-PW, are Callaway Apex Pro’s.

Mickelson carries three Callaway wedges at the moment. He uses an MD3 which has 54 degrees of loft, and then two PM Grind ’19 “Raw” wedges with 60 and 64 degrees of loft.

The PM stands for Phil Mickelson because he helped design the wedges with Roger Cleveland.

Mickelson had been using an Odyssey Stroke Lab Black Ten putter however he has gone back to an Odyssey ‘Phil Mickelson’ blade putter.

Lefty currently uses Callaway’s Chrome Soft X golf ball featuring Graphene – one of the strongest materials known to man.

The ‘X’ model delivers lower spin and firmer feel than the regular Chrome Soft for faster swinging players.

He is using Callaway’s new Triple Track technology on his ball which is designed to help with alignment.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson go head-to-head in a charity match up this Sunday, with the help of legendary American Football players Peyton Manning and Tom Brady
