PowaKaddy has unveiled its new winter wheels, designed specifically for use in soft, wet underfoot conditions

PowaKaddy has unveiled its new winter wheels, designed specifically for use in soft, wet underfoot conditions.

The wheels – endorsed by the British and International Golf Greenkeepers’ Association – ensure minimal ground contact, thereby protecting often sodden winter courses from damage.

What’s more, patented technology ensures PowaKaddy’s new wheels are compatible with most of the company’s recently released trolleys.

Greenkeepers and course managers were consulted in the construction of the Winter Wheels to help avoid common cold-weather issues, such as tyre marks – often caused by summer wheels.

An open tread design also serves to prevent debris from clogging in the wheels and bringing mud into car boots and clubhouses.

PowaKaddy Winter Wheels work with the following models:

FW3, FW5, FW7, SPORT, Freeway Digital, TOUCH, Freeway (post 2000), Freeway II, Classic Legend, RoboKaddy and Highway.
