SealSkinz joins forces with National Golf Club Challenge

SealSkinz has been announced as the newest sponsor of the 2013 Volvo National Golf Club Challenge, the UK’s biggest charity golf event.

The company, which makes a range of waterproof and breathable socks, hats and gloves, will supply product to the national finalists, as well as donating socks, mittens and beanies to the NGCC’s auction website.

All funds raised from the charity event will be donated to Help for Heroes.

Clubs are encouraged to stage charity golf days throughout May, June and July 2014, with top performers at local level qualifying for the national final at Open venue Turnberry.

“We’re proud to be able to support to Volvo National Golf Club Challenge and Help for Heroes,” said SealSkinz Chief Executive Justin Adams.

“Our products are currently used by the British Armed Forces and it is wonderful that we have this opportunity to support and raise funds for Help for Heroes and their fantastic work for our wounded troops.”

SealSkinz hand builds a significant percentage of products in the UK, and is proud of its association with the British Isles.

Its range of waterproof products eliminate common golfing afflictions like wet feet and enable golfers to combat the elements for an extended period of time.

“We are thrilled to have SealSkinz join our family of sponsors, being the only waterproof breathable sock on the market,” added Mat Leighton, The NGCC’s National Golf Club Challenge.

“Being made in Great Britain with a close tie to the British Armed Forces, we are confident the product will prove very popular with golfers.”
