Under Armour has released its new UA Performance Mouthwear, which is designed to improve performance in a range of sports.
The UA Performance Mouthpiece has been designed to remove stress and fatigue caused by clenching teeth and some of golf's biggest names have been testing the device.
Ryder Cup star, Ross Fisher, said: "I have been testing the mouthpiece in recent weeks and I am intrigued by the technology."
By removing stress, endurance can be increased by enlarging the airway openings that also helps to speed up reaction times. Clinical trials have shown an improvement in responding to auditory cues and potential improvement in visual cues.
Specifically to golf, the Mouthwear should reduce the amount of hormone cortisol which causes stress, fatigue and distraction, thus helping you to feel and play better.
A fully fitted option is available from dentists for £350, while a fit-your-own version is available for £55.
