In one of the most eagerly anticipated shoe launches of 2016, it has been announced that three new Under Armour shoes will be coming to shops in the UK
Not only was Jordan Spieth’s 2014 Masters victory notable for it being his maiden major title, but he secured his first Green Jacket in such fine style wearing a pair of Under Armour shoes not many had seen before, nor were they available to buy in the UK.
That is until now. In fact, three new Under Armour shoe models are set to hit the shelves in 2016 – The Tempo Tour (£160) and Tempo Hybrid (£120) are on sale now; the Drive One (£130) goes on sale in early May.
While Spieth cruised to victory last year at Augusta in the Drive One model, it is the Tempo Tour that will grab the headlines in the UK. It features a removable molded sock liner that supports and cradles your foot as well as a breathable, full-grain leather and a lightweight waterproof membrane to keep you cool and dry.

For reassurance on your potential purchase, it comes with a two-year waterproof warranty. It also features something called 'super-charged' cushioning, which is said to return energy as you walk to provide a spring in your step all the way to the 18th green. Finally, a built-in lateral TPU wrap stops your heel rolling over excessively as you swing for added control.
The spikeless Tempo Hybrid shoe (below) features strategically placed rubber traction pods that grip the surface without digging into your feet from underneath, combining grip with traction. The uppers are made from a soft, water-resistant leather to help keep moisture at bay out on the course.
The Drive One – below, showcased by Jordan Spieth for the last 12 months – is made from a lightweight, waterproof microfibre. It features a removable, dual-density sockliner that forms to the shape of your foot for comfort and stability, while its extra-wide outsole helps generate dynamic flexibility and power.
The Tempo Tour will be available in all white and white with red and black trim. The Tempo Hybrid will be available in white and gravel grey while the Drive One in white with academy blue only.
