Congressional Country Club: Hole 11
The 2011 US Open returns to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Here's your hole-by-hole guide to the Blue course that last hosted America's Open in 1997
Hole 11 Par 4 494 yards
The 11th hole is a par 4 just under 500 yards and is one of the hardest on the course. The line from the tee is to the flat part of the fairway on the right. From here it is a straightforward shot into a flat green. However, water guarding the right side of the green may persuade some players to aim for the left side. Anything missing the green here will leave a horrible recovery shot and maybe sandy.
