Congressional Country Club: Hole 5
The 2011 US Open returns to Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. Here's your hole-by-hole guide to the Blue course that last hosted America's Open in 1997
Hole 5 Par 4 413 yards
This 413-yard par 4 favours players who can hit a draw and is a good birdie opportunity. The narrow fairway means most tend to lay up with something less than a driver at the top of the hill that doglegs to the left. Those who manage that will have a mid or short iron into a green that slopes from left to right.
