Wall-to-wall golf on terrestrial TV – what a true joy the Open Championship is. The BBC will be living at Birkdale for the week, with interactive and radio coverage ensuring that no one misses a thing.

The BBC will have more than 60 TV cameras stationed around Birkdale, along with nine cranes and 100 miles of cable (be careful not to trip if visiting the course), with live coverage available from BBC 1 and BBC2 (with interactive coverage available at the press of the red button), Radio Five Live, Five Live Sports Extra and on the BBC website.
