Slaley Hall is offering golfers an exclusive package that offers a day ticket for the final round of the De Vere Collection PGA Seniors Championship (Sunday 24th August) before following in the footsteps of Ryder Cup hero Sam Torrance by playing the course under championship conditions the following day (Monday 25th August). At a cost of £199 per person, the package also includes dinner in the exquisitely designed restaurant and accommodation at the luxurious Northumberland resort on the Sunday night. This fantastic package can be reserved by calling Slaley Hall on 01434 673350.

After seeing the Pro’s do battle for the record prize fund of £300,000 throughout the final days play of the tournament, golfers will then experience for themselves the Dave Thomas designed Hunting Course. It will be the closest opportunity many golfers will have to playing in a professional environment, as the course will be in peak condition and the grandstands from the tournament will still be in place.

De Vere Slaley Hall is an elegant Edwardian mansion in 1,000 acres of the finest Northumberland moorland and forest. The Restaurant, with stunning views, serves the freshest Northumberland produce to create delicacies for both the Classics menu and the a la carte Market menu.

This will be the first time that Slaley Hall has hosted the PGA Seniors Championship, which will see Carl Mason defending his title. Sam Torrance, Europe’s Ryder Cup winning captain in 2002 and back-to-back winner of the Seniors Championship in 2005 and 2006, will also be competing along with former Ryder Cup stars Costantino Rocca and Gordon Brand Junior.

Slaley Hall also has a fabulous Corporate Hospitality package available on all four days of the tournament (Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th August). At a cost of £99 per person, the package includes a champagne breakfast, superb three course lunch with wine and afternoon tea. Furthermore, guests will receive a welcome pack upon arrival that will include a draw sheet, tournament programme and tickets for the course. Hospitality packages can be reserved by calling Slaley Hall on 01434 673350.

The par 72 Hunting Course is a real treasure that is magnificently maintained, featuring rolling moorland, streams and lakes, towering trees and banks of rhododendrons. Well placed bunkers and tricky greens make this USGA standard course a real challenge. Slaley Hall also boasts the Priestman Course on the west side of the estate, designed by Neil Coles, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Tyne Valley. Further information about the golf facilities on offer at the resort can be found by logging onto or by calling the Pro Shop on 01434 673350.
